Frances Grace Larson, 89, of Central City, formerly of South Dakota, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Central City Care Center in Central City. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Brad Jenkins officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday, prior to the funeral, from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Mountain Time in Timber Lake Cemetery, Timber Lake, SD. Frances was born on September 3, 1924, in Mobridge, SD, to Edward W. and Gladys (Coull) Frank. She grew up in Mobridge and Glencross, SD, and graduated from Timber Lake High School. She was united in marriage to Darwin A. Larson and the couple lived all over South Dakota where her husband traveled for work. She worked at the Super Duper grocery store in Winner, SD for 33 years, retiring in 1991. Her husband Darwin died in 1987, and Frances moved to Central City in 2010. Frances loved horses and PBR Rodeo. Survivors include her sons, Dwayne D. Larson, and Jane Hubka, of Central City, NE; and Robert (Amber) Larson of Yankton, SD, a daughter, Sharon (Charles) Klein of Gregory, SD, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and sisters, Alice Kilber of Akaska, SD; Patty (Michael) Marolla, of Richmond, VA; and Emma Young of Bremerton, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darwin Larson, and two brothers, Donald Frank and Paul Frank.
