Judy K. Malleck, 69, of Central City died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Mark Hartley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery in Indianola, Nebraska. Judy was born on April 25, 1945, to Homer and Minnie (Ebert) Ford in McCook, Nebraska. She grew up in Vinton, Iowa, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She attended schools in those areas. She was united in marriage to James Marvin Malleck on October 17, 1964 in Oberlin, KS. The couple lived in Waterloo, Iowa, and then moved to Central City, Nebraska. Judy worked at Bethesda and Litzenberg Long Term Care. She also worked at Prioricare and Homecare all in Central City. Judy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She is survived by one son- DeWayne Malleck of Central City, NE; two stepdaughters , Debbie Marco of Denver, CO; and Cynthia Petersen of Denver, CO; one grandson, Dakota Malleck of Central City, NE; three granddaughters, Lorna Boyd of Genoa, NE; Laurann Boyd of Kearney, NE; and Larissa Boyd of Bladen, NE; one great granddaughter, Zoey Osantowski; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Peggy Ford; Cris Ford; and Burt and Carol Wark; and one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Ed Howard. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Malleck; her step mother, Dorothy Ford; daughter- in- law, Lyla D. Kearney Malleck; and a step sister, Pauline Kerr.
