Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Nelson Newman officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with a Scriptural Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will in the Central City Cemetery. Ronda was born on February 13, 1958 to Emmett and Darlene (Hower) Marker in Bartlett, Nebraska. She attended school in Bartlett. Ronda was blessed with four children, Corey (Jody) Marker, Crystal (Craig) Wall, Heather (special friend Cory Pohl) and Dustin Marker. She was united in marriage to Donald Fishler on November 26, 1988 in Bartlett, Nebraska. She spent 18 years working at McCain Foods in Grand Island. Ronda loved spending time with her family. Ronda also enjoyed spending time at the river and fishing in Wyoming. Her last adventure was on a cruise ship to the Bahamas with most of her family. Ronda will be remembered for her strength and courage. Ronda is survived by her husband, her children, and grandchildren – Nathan, Christian, and Tanika Marker; Shelby, Michaela, and Isaiah Wall; Arianna and Jaxson Pohl; Brenton and Taryn Marker; Teyah Sackett, Bailey Lichty, Cassie West, Madison and Meghan Bressman, Macey Kessler; eleven brothers and sisters- JoAnn Ellmers of Ord, NE; Melvin (Pauline) Marker of Bartlett, NE; Karen Marker of Ord, NE; Patsy Fletcher of Rock Springs,Wy; Linda (Willy) Cook of Kearney, Ne Betty Marker of Omaha, NE; Dee Marker of Kearney, NE; Rick (Linda) Marker Casper, WY; Leora (Tom) Johns of Grand Island, NE; Ernie (Marcy) Marker of Adams, NE; Dean Marker of Fairmont, NE; sisters in law Patty Harvey of Lincoln, NE; DeAnna Marker of Columbus, NE; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son- Dustin Marker; parents, and brothers- Paul, Dale, Robert Marker; a sister- Kathy Marker;nephews – Kyle Cooley and Boyd Marker; brother in law- Edd Fletcher, her father and mother in law – Laurence and Mary Fishler; brother in laws – John Fishler and Marty Manandik.
